Productive Green Infrastructure for post-industrial urban regeneration
Urbanization causes the loss of urban green spaces and damages water, air, soil, biodiversity, human health and climate. The sustainable development of the future needs sustainable development of the cities. This is where green infrastructures and nature-based solutions play an important role in daily urban life.
The project has more than 30 partners and aims to demonstrate the application of nature-based solutions to economically self-sufficient business models, and to prove multiple benefits related to the economic, environmental, and social regeneration of post-industrial urban areas.
