Territorial enhancement
The cultural landscape of wine in Piemonte (Italy) and tea in Uji area (Japan)
The research project explores the connection between urban and rural areas from the perspective of food production, supply, and consumption. The research focuses on the increasing cultural value of productive landscapes and traditional agricultural practices, bringing together landscape architects and designers for sustainable land development.
The scope of the project has grown thanks to the synergic work between students and professors, international workshops on the Italy-Japan axis, involving universities, local administrations, and local companies. The research has led to the development of several master's theses.
