Systemic Design for sustainable territorial transition

Co-designing strategies and tools to enhance the local value constellation for new kind of sustainable tourism

Challenge

This doctoral research aims to apply the methodological framework of Systemic Design for the sustainable development of the territory, promoting actions capable of realising new sustainable forms of tourism linked to circular economy practices in the territory.

Results

The objective is to define how design is able to develop and co-design strategies and synergies by involving multilevel stakeholders and inserting itself in those contexts in which policy makers develop proposals for the territory. It is a transdisciplinary research that sees design research approaching Circular Economy, Sustainable Development, process analysis and up to interfacing with the national and international policy framework.
